Story
I was lucky enough to get a place in the London Marathon through the ballot. I wanted to use the opportunity to raise a few pennies for a good cause and decided to run in aid of Myton Hospice. I don't think there are many families in Rugby who haven't been touched by Myton at some point and it is so important that they continue to be there for us in the future.
Myton Hospices believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; they focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option. They are leaders in compassionate end of life care; their work centres on the patients and involving them in decisions about their care. Perhaps most importantly, giving people more quality time with their loved ones.
Last year Myton supported more than 1,500 people and their families, in their three hospices, via patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
Myton Hospices need to raise £10.5 million every year to provide their services so any support you can give would be very much appreciated and will help push me round the 26.2 miles on 21st April!
Thank you xx
