Befrienders Highland are a small voluntary organisation working to improve the lives of people who are experiencing mental ill health; memory difficulties or dementia and carers, working with adults (aged 18 and over) who are lonely and isolated, and live within the Highland Region of Scotland.

We offer face to face and distance befriending using the REFOCUS recovery method.

We have been offering our service for almost 30 years and in the last few years have seen a significant increase in the demand for our support.

For our 30 year anniversary we would like to raise £30k that would fund a further 30 volunteers to undergo the training required to be able to support someone needing our service.
