Dear Friends,

5/23/23: Today is my one year anniversary of my surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from my left breast. Words I never imagined having to pen in my life! Due to early detection, and my own very strong bodily intuition, I'm grateful that my outcome was favorable. After recovery, radiation therapy and an anti cancer Rx, I'm on my way to what I suspect will be a normal healthy life, with lots of lots of screening and my medical team watching me like a hawk. I have always been passionate about the cancer cause, but now I am more than ever!

Over the last 20 years cancer mortality rates have decreased by 30 percent. Yet, sadly cancer remains a leading cause of death in the U.S. and around the world. In fact, it is estimated that more than 10 million people will die from cancer this year.

More Must Be Done!

From June 17-23, I will be Stepping Up to raise funds for cancer research by supporting the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation, a leading international nonprofit that has been funding groundbreaking science for nearly 50 years.

On Saturday, June 22nd I will join NFL Hall of Famers, Harry Carson and Joe Klecko, and other football legends for a 3-mile run/walk at MetLife Stadium.
