Jamie’s fundraiser for MS Society UK

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
After 8 years of trying… I’m finally running the London Marathon! It honestly doesn’t feel real saying that. I’ve been entering the ballot over the years with no luck — but this time, I’ve got a place, and I’m beyond grateful to be running for a cause that means the world to me and my family.
On 14th February 2011, my father-in-law, Kenny, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
MS is a lifelong condition that affects the brain and nerves, but honestly, it affects so much more than that. It’s unpredictable, exhausting, and relentless. And yet, through it all, Kenny has faced everything head-on with so much strength and resilience. He’s had tough days — more than his fair share — but he keeps going, determined not to let MS take away the life he wants to live.
Watching him go through all of this with so much courage has been a massive inspiration to me. So when I finally got a place in the marathon, there was no question about who I’d be running for — or why.
I’m proud to be supporting MS Society UK, a charity that’s doing incredible work to support people living with MS and to one day find treatments for everyone. Their mission is simple: “Until we stop MS, we won’t stop.”
And I’m with them every step of the way.
If you can spare anything — even just the price of a coffee — please consider donating. Or if you can’t, a share would mean just as much. Every little helps, and it all adds up to something bigger than any one of us.
Here’s to running for Kenny, and for everyone out there living with MS. 🧡
Let’s help build a future where no one has to face it alone.
Thank you so much for the love and support — it means everything. 🧡
