ALFIES DOG JOG 🐶

We always need to make sure Alfie receives His much needed treatment 💉💉

We can't run our usual crazy events this year because of health issues and we are absolutely gutted 😢

BUT as you all know Alfie has been involved every step of the way in this fundraising effort from day one, he has done an Indoor Skydive the White Collar Boxing a Marathon NOW he wants to do Alfie's Dog Jog with his pooch Gizmo!!!!!!

So Alfie this year has set himself a Crazy Challenge he is hoping to take him and Gizmo out throughout lent and completing one mile each day with him starting on the 14th of February and finishing up Easter Saturday at the USPCA in Newry, and would love as many of you joining him as possible👏👏

Alfie is such an incredible boy who has shown so much resilience his whole life with everything he has already done along with what his wee body goes through, and now hes going to do this, which will be totalling in 40 miles absolutely amazing for any kid with Duchenne to even try this 😲💚

Also for anyone wishing to participate but lacks the 'Dog' part of the challenge, we encourage you to sign up and just go for a walk, meet friends whatever way suits you best, but Alfie & us would appreciate any support you can give💚

Obviously we will be monitoring him and how he is doing daily but please get behind our wee superstar, this is an amazing tough challenge for an 11 year old kid with Duchenne to do, and our Hero is adamant he can do it (stubborn like his Mummy)😂💚

Fight for Alfie formed as a result of Alfie's diagnosis. Colleen & Jamie, Alfie's parents, felt they needed to do all they could to save their child's life. Through the years, the charity developed & gained a greater presence within the community. We opened our arms to help & support other families going through the same.

With the use of funds, acquired by fundraising and public donations, we are able to help those affected by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy with the provision of aids and support to help them access trials & improve their lives.
