On 16th September 2024, myself (Jamie Clayton) and my colleague from West Yorkshire Fire service, Rob Ball, are attempting to walk the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, in full operational firekit including carrying a breathing apparatus set.

This is undoubtedly going to be a huge challenge for us but something we are desperate to complete and try raise much needed funds for our chosen charities.

I have chosen The Candlelighters Trust as a thank you for the immense level of support they gave my family through a period of extremely testing and difficult times. The professionalism and care they offered was much needed and valued immeasurably. They support and care for children and young people with cancer and I'm sure you'd agree any amount of money raised would benefit them massively!!

Please, donate what you feel you can, it will really spur us on during the challenge.
