Story
As people may be aware our gorgeous little boy Harvey recently passed away and Derian house have been amazing throughout his life, from respite a few times a year allowing Harvey to be spoilt and enjoy a small holiday, to offering Harvey a chance to stay in their sunflower room for a week after his passing, allowing us all to spend a little more time with him and say our goodbyes, while offering myself and the girls a flat for the week, supporting us and feeding us during our time there.
This really is an amazing cause and anything that can help would be truly appreciated.
3, 2, 1 JUMP!
So this summer myself and 3 others (my sister Kelsey, brother in law Matt and friend Nicola) are flying up to 15,000ft. Once there, the door of the plane will be opened and I will jump out attached to a British Skydiving qualified instructor and experience speeds of 120mph as I fly through the skies of Lancashire, all to raise funds for Derian House Childrens Hospice.
Derian House provide care and respite for children with life-limiting or life-shortening conditions across the North West of England. To provide their services it costs them almost £6m per year, with only 29% of this coming from any statutory sources. The charity have to find the remaining 71% to keep their doors open.
