We are a environmental charity working to end to sewage and plastic pollution.

Story

On Saturday 8th July Maisie, Kitty and I are going to swim 6km (3.7 miles) down the River Avon in Devon, starting at Aveton Gifford and ending on Bantham Beach. It's a very beautiful part of the world right by Burgh Island and it would be lovely if you could come and join us.. (not necessarily in the water.. although there are still tickets here.. https://tinyurl.com/bantham-swoosh-tickets)

We are swimming to help fight for everyone's right to clean water in our rivers and seas. Not just for us all to enjoy, but more importantly to save the eco systems we all depend on. Any money you donate will go to Surfers Against Sewage to help them in their fight to force the water companies to act.

It's quite a lot further than any of us have swum before, but we have high hopes that the tidal swoosh will save us.. xx

Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) is a charity set up in 1990 by people sick of seeing the ocean they love polluted. We campaign to protect the ocean and all it makes possible, by taking action on the ground that triggers change from the top. We're calling for an end to sewage and plastic pollution.
