On 28.09.24, I'm running 30 miles from Blackpool Tower to Lancaster Tower. I'm doing this in memory of my daughter, Frankie Wood, who tragically died last year. I have chosen to raise money for the Samaritans, as I know this is something she would have felt passionate about.

The work that the Samaritans do is fantastic. By offering a lifeline to those in crisis, they can help prevent the pain suffered by the individual and those who love them, their friends and family.

Every death by suicide is a tragedy, and I’m aware that this is only a drop in the ocean compared to the complexities of the issues, but it is something. If these 30 miles lead to a donation that leads to someone choosing life, it'll have been worth it. Thank you for reading.
