James's fundraiser for The Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD)

Rome Marathon 2025 · 16 March 2025
Hi and thanks for visiting!
I am running the Rome Marathon next March in aid of CAFOD. The charity helps people all around the world who are affected or displaced by war, natural disasters or famine. The catastrophic situation in the Middle East is particularly pertinent at the moment but CAFOD is also helping people in Ukraine and many other regions. If you could give just a few pounds to the cause I would greatly appreciate it!
As a bonus if anyone posts a comment and manages to guess my finishing time within two minutes I will personally donate an extra £100 to the cause.
CAFOD is actively responding to the conflict happening in the Middle East, raising vital funds and awareness for the affected Palestinians, Israelis and Lebanese. CAFOD's partners have worked in Gaza, the West Bank, Israel and Lebanon for decades, enabling them to respond to this crisis in ways other aid organisations cannot.
This includes:
Emergency healthcare
Food packages
Safe shelter
Cash to buy fuel, blankets and other essentials.
Please consider sponsoring me to help CAFOD continue providing essential support to the people affected by the current conflict in the Middle East right now. Visit CAFOD's website for more information. (this page has been updated today in light of the escalation in Lebanon)
CAFOD relies solely on donations, and the need for support keeps growing. Donations made via my page will go directly to CAFOD, so they can put your contribution to work immediately.
