Hi……
On the 8th of June, I am lacing up the trainers again but this time for the challenge beyond anything I have thought possible before.
Ahead of me will be………. 100 kilometres or a 62.13 miles race across the rolling lake district countryside…
Without doubt this will be hardest physical test I have ever undertaken but more than anything it will be my mental strength being put through its paces….. AND this is the reason I am taking on such a challenge…
IN support of www.mind.org.uk …. I aim to raise £1,000 which could help make a small difference to anyone struggling with their mental health.
As someone who has battled with my own mental health over many years, I know how difficult it can be to ask for help and how important Mind can be for anyone who is struggling.
No matter how big or small your contribution it will help in a big way not only help change lives but also save them.
Thanks for your support and if nothing else spread the word. (And pass my details onto any potential donors of sports attire, nutrition or supplements that I would be happy to plug!!)
