Story
Thanks for taking the time to view my fundraising page. Unfortunately my family have lost many family members due to cancer. In recent years my cousins Daniel and Jen Jones sadly passed away after courageous battles against cancer. St Peter’s Hospice was able to provide end of life care for both of them as well as my aunty Mary and aunty Marg, making their final moments on this planet as comfortable as possible. I have been inspired by their bravery when faced with the battle against this horrendous illness and have decided to partake in the hospice’s challenge of cycling from Brentry (Bristol) to Paris, over the course of 4 days. If you’re able to support me with this it would be greatly appreciated, no donation is too small.
The hospice can only provide the amazing service that they currently do through donations from people like yourselves. They have provided this statement “We believe everyone deserves care and dignity at the end of their life, and our expert teams provide that in a professional and caring way. Our support is holistic, and covers the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual issues that can arise as a result of serious illness. We also extend our care to loved ones and carers, providing respite during the hardest of times.
Thanks to donations like yours, we can be a voice at the end of the phone, a nurse on the doorstep, and a hand to hold through the darkest of times”.
So, please dig deep and help me complete this massive challenge in the memory of my two very loved cousins, Daniel and Jen my two inspirational aunties Mary and Margaret.
