Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
LOROS is a charity whose aim is to enhance the quality of life of adult patients with cancer, progressive neurological conditions and end-stage organ failure for whom curative treatment is no longer possible. Patients are treated at the Hospice and in the community based upon clinical need, regardless of background and the ability to pay.
A group of students and teachers from Loughborough College Sixth Form Department are running at the Silverstone Run Fest to raise money for several different charities with an overall target of £10,000. LOROS is one of the charities that we are running for.
In the heart of the British countryside, the iconic Silverstone Formula 1 Grand Prix Circuit will roar to life with the spirit of generosity and community. This year, the circuit is transforming into a vibrant hub for the Silverstone Run Fest.
The event is not just about racing; it is a festival of community spirit.
We are setting a challenge to ourselves to raise £10,000 for several charities, each one representing a unique cause and a brighter future. The success of the event will underscore a powerful message: when we come together, fuelled by passion and purpose, we can drive change in our communities.
Silverstone will not be just a circuit that day; it will be a track where hope races alongside determination, proving that even in our fast-paced world, the slow and steady stride of charity can create lasting impact. As the sun will set behind the grandstands at the end of the Silverstone Run Fest, the promise of a better tomorrow will linger in the air, ignited by the collective efforts of all who ran for change.
