We're a group of hiking enthusiasts that cant get enough of the great outdoors. We're always looking for the next thrill, a new adventure or another challenge, many of us would claim that we were in fact Mourne to be Wild.... We hike hard and we eat well, always.

So it only seems right that team "Slieve Doner on Chips" take on the Cancer Focus NI Mourne Seven Summits this Summer. On Saturday the 15th of June, at around 7am, we will begin climbing all 7 summits that are over 700 metres elevation in the Mourne Mountain Range. In the following order:

Slieve Donard (850m)

Slieve Commedagh (765m)

Slieve Bernagh (727m)

Slieve Meelmore (704m)

Slieve Meelberg (708m)

Slieve Binnian (747m)

Slieve Lamagan (704m)

This is expected to take somewhere between 8-12 hours, depending on conditions. We will cover a total distance of 30.52km and climb a total elevation of 2579m.

We are raising money for Cancer Focus NI who do a fantastic job of supporting people and their families that are affected by cancer. Cancer is something that has likely affected all of us whether it be personally or through a friend, colleague or family member. Any donations would of course be greatly appreciated.
