Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our LGS Davys team are taking part in the Derby Cathedral Abseil and fundraising for Rainbows Hospice. On Saturday 5th October, our boys will climb the 189 steps to the top of the cathedral’s tower. Here they will be harnessed up, before climbing over the edge and abseiling the 212ft back down!!

By raising the £100 in sponsorship, you could help fund two-hours of Music Therapy here at the Rainbows Hospice. As many of the children don’t have the language skills they need to express their emotions or may not find it easy to talk about their feelings, music therapy provides an ideal space in which to express themselves.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, we brighten the short lives of babies, children and young people who come to Rainbows. We want them to have fun and make special memories. We are also here to support their loved ones through the most difficult times of their lives.
