We fund a network of expert research nurses to help save blood cancer patients' lives

Story

BOOTHS the good grocers, are committed to supporting Cure Leukaemia for a minimum of the next 2 years

Across the Booths Country we have a number of events and activities to raise money for this amazing charity, from sponsored football matches to riding a bike from London to Paris, all with one aim, raise money and awareness

Unfortunately someone is diagnosed with Leukaemia every 14 minutes, this is why the Transport division is planning a 14 Laps of our base at Bluebell Way, Preston to emphasise the 14 minutes, this will give runners, walkers, or teams a total of 10km

Please join Andrew Eastham , Matthew Ridley, and Robert Mayor in supporting this excellent charity

Rob has already completed Manchester 10km and the junior 2.5km race with his son Harry, unfortunately just shy of the 14km, but as close as he could get with 12.5km

Cure Leukaemia helps blood cancer patients to access pioneering drug and transplant treatments by funding a network of specialist research nurses across the UK. Without these nurses, to ensure patients are monitored and cared for, clinical trials of these new treatments would not run and patients, that have exhausted standard treatment options, would miss out on potentially lifesaving therapies. Every penny raised for Cure Leukaemia helps save lives and also hastens global progress towards the eradication of all forms of blood cancer.

Cure Leukaemia fund research nurses at 15 hospitals across the UK. These roles form the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) network giving patients, from a catchment area of 30m, access to potentially life-saving treatments through clinical trials, with plans to fund a paediatric network on the way.
