Story
On the 21st of April I will be running the London Marathon for a cause that is very close to my heart.
Both Mum and my sister Nia suffer from chronic migraine.
Migraine affects 10 million people in the UK ( more than Diabetes Epilepsy and Asthma put together) and 2% progress to chronic migraine which wrecks peoples lives. We need to raise awareness and destigmatise this disease which is an inherited brain disease with more than 40 symptoms, and not just a “headache” as perceived by many. It is under funded and badly managed. People are left for years wrongly diagnosed and are often completely unable to function.
