Story

St Giles

On the 27th of May I will be running 24 hours to raise money for the St Giles Hospice. This is a charity very close to the hearts of me and my family, and have supported me greatly for my crazy little endeavour. I will be running it on the Brereton/Ravenhill park track, with only one excuse to stop, that’s not for sleep, to eat or drink, or even to cry, but only to nip to the closest bush. My run will commence 27/5/23 10am, and finish exactly where it started 28/5/23 10am. This run will be off the back of only 2 months training, without training/running prior for years, so if I can do it then I’m pretty sure anyone can, they’d just rather not. But firstly, I do have to do it, and to reassure those who think I cannot, for every minute I don’t complete, I will personally donate £1, so if I were to let the bitch in my head win at only 14 hours 27 minutes, I owe £567, which I don’t want to pay to a great charity cos I’ve got holidays to pay for, selfish, I’m aware. If anybody, including any local business, would like to support me and St Giles then please message or email me. @xjameslewisrugeley@gmail.com

All donations are greatly appreciated.

Wish me luck.
