I'm hoping to raise thousands of pounds for EACH when I embark on this epic 1,400km run from Lands End To John O'Groats.

It's an eye-watering challenge for most but it's only short-term pain and graft compared to what these amazing children and families have to go through. It's the equivalent of 34 marathons and on the 26th of August 2023, I will be tackling it head-on over 12-15 days. I will be staying in a motorhome and have a team of bikers, runners and vans supporting me throughout the run, pitching up at different locations and check points so I can sleep, eat, hydrate and recover.

When I visited the hospice, I felt completely inspired afterwards; it was a real boost and totally underlined the reasons I’m so determined to do this. We take so many things for granted and there are simple things we do every single day without even thinking about them. Things aren’t always as straightforward for these children and that’s why this challenge is so important. I’m doing it for those who are less fortunate and if I can make one child smile, or fund a piece of equipment that spreads joy, I’ll have won.
