Birmingham Mind Mental Elf 2024 · 1 December 2024 ·

Mental Elf is Festive Fun run suitable for all ages and abilities. Whether you walk, jog, skip or run the 5km, its all about having lots of festive fun whilst raising funds so we can support the people in Birmingham and the wider communities.

Story

I am a Trustee at Birmingham Mind and will be 'running' in their Mental Elf Festive Fun Run on Sunday 1st December at Cannon Hill Park. I'm not sure how much I will actually run, but I will get round the 5km course in some way - and may or may not be elf-themed!

This event brings people together, not only to fundraise, but to raise awareness for mental health and wellbeing. It promotes the benefits of physical activity, connecting with people and doing something to help others.

We know that this time of year can be an extra difficult time for some people. Throughout December 2023, Birmingham Mind's helpline team handled 1486 calls.

All funds raised during Mental Elf will stay in Birmingham to help support vital services to support people with their mental health. Services such as our Central Wellbeing Hub at The Bullring & Grand Central.

Please give generously!
