James Kilfiger is raising money for PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide

Longest day 24 miles, one mile each hour · 21 June 2025

PAPYRUS is the national charity for the prevention of young suicide. We run HOPELINE247 0800 068 4141 a freephone confidential helpline staffed by trained professionals who give advice, support & information to anyone who is feeling suicidal, or concerned that a young person they know may be at risk

Story

The 21st of June is the Summer solstice. The longest day. The sky starts to get light at 4am. And I'll go for a one mile run. And again at 5am and 6am... At 9am I'll join in for the start of East Grinstead parkrun

Of course life continues. I'll be at Michael Hall for the Summer Festival, but still running one mile each hour. And later after night falls at the St. John's Fire.

The 24th mile will be at 3am on the 22nd.

I'm supporting PAPYRUS, I hope you can too.
