Story

Hello everyone, thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

I am happy to share that I will be running the Brighton Marathon on April 6th to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society.

Why the Alzheimer's Society? This cause is very close to my heart. My Grandad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2016 and sadly passed away in 2019. Witnessing his battle with this devastating disease and seeing him deteriorate rapidly was incredibly difficult. It showed me just how cruel Alzheimer's can be, and I am determined to help support the fight against it. With your help, we can work towards a future where fewer people suffer from this condition.

As for the marathon, running isn't exactly my passion, and I am a bit nervous about the challenge ahead. But how hard can it be, right? (I might regret saying that!) I am motivated and looking forward to pushing myself. I have started preparing, but there's still a lot of work to be done.

Thank you all for your support and any donations. It means a lot to me. James.
