24 hours kayaking, 8 June 2024
We are a voluntary search and rescue team to provide response and support in floods

Story

On the 8th June a group of four of us will be setting out to kayak for 24 hours non stop. We will all be on the water for the duration of the challenge.

Meet the team!

Sophie Macken - The youngest member of the team, but one to look out for! Rapidly making a name for herself in freestyle, but also a mean river runner and coach.

Charlie Brackpool - A world renowned freestyle judge who also has the moves on the water. Charlie also gets stuck in passing his kayaking knowledge on.

Becky Green - a young paddler who is already making her mark on the freestyle scene. She got a silver medal at the 2022 world championships, and represented GB in THREE disciplines at at 2023 world championships!.

James Ibbotson - Freestyle paddler, event organiser, dad. A busy guy who doesn't know when to stop.
