Story

10 days. 10 x 5k runs.

I am taking part in this 50k Challenge because I want to help victims and survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking. It’s happening all around us, on normal-looking streets.

Shockingly, there are an estimated 122,000 victims of this crime in the UK, and nearly 50 million globally.

I want to do something about it, so I'm supporting a charity that is out on the frontlines, working directly with those most affected: Hope for Justice. This UK-based charity managed to help more than 200,000 people this year, including children just a few years old, as well as people in their 70s who have been exploited for almost their entire lives. Its award-winning model is based on four pillars: preventing exploitation; rescuing victims; restoring lives; and reforming society.

Thank you so much for any support you can offer, I'd be so grateful if you could sponsor me and by doing so, help those who need it most.
