James's fundraiser for MhIST - Bolton

UWCB Bolton 28th April 2024 · 28 April 2024 ·
Over the years, I've had more than a couple of times when my mental health hasn't been as strong as I'd like. Moreover, mental health issues have affected members of my family, so charities supporting mental health in the community will always be close to my heart. As a teacher, I've also seen the impact that the Covid lockdowns have had on many children. Sadly, the NHS's mental health services are stretched to, if not beyond, the point of breaking, so charities like MhiST are vital in providing that support. One of the things that has really helped my own mental health is running, which started when I completed the Couch to 5k in 2020, It feels right to raise money for a mental health charity.
