Story
Believe it or not, this April I'm taking on the London Marathon challenge for the NSPCC, a cause I've long admired for its impact on vulnerable children. As a headteacher, I witness daily the crucial role the NSPCC plays in creating safe environments for children to thrive. Dedicated to preventing child abuse through support services, advocacy, Childline helpline, and more, the NSPCC is essential in safeguarding children's well-being. I'm reaching out for your support through sponsorship, with fundraising events leading up to the marathon with friends and with my colleagues and pupils in school.
You can contribute any amount you like, or sponsor a specific mile of the race, with special recognition on my running vest. For each mile, I'm suggesting a minimum donation of £20, and for the last 0.2 miles in front of Buckingham Palace, a minimum of £40. Your generosity will make a real difference in the lives of children in need.
My page donations will be sent direct to the NSPCC in a fast and secure way. Its efficient, saves time and cuts costs for the charity. Let's do this!
