Why am I raising money? Because I honestly don’t know another way to try and help others, and also help myself.

My life changed three years ago when we were pregnant for the first time. It was the happiest time of my life. An early scan revealed a healthy pregnancy. But later at our 3-month scan, our world crumbled. We suffered a missed miscarriage. And I’ve never been the same since.

A year later, we suffered a second missed miscarriage. Then the following year, history repeated itself once more, even after another early scan showing everything was well.

Multiple operations, including an emergency blood transfusion followed all miscarriages. Constant specialist appointments to try and understand why continue to happen to this day.

It’s difficult to put into words the sheer trauma, pain, grief that we continue to feel today. I’m suffering, and focusing on a run, training with a goal in mind is literally what keeps me going.
