Story
First of all I want to say I understand the times we are in we haven’t got the luxury of donating what we have with the cost of living, so please don’t feel expected to. Your support means just as much. This community this city brings is what makes it special. As someone who had family at Hillsborough I’ve learned first hand the effect it must of had. This is as much in memory of the 97 as much as it is a celebration of the community we have. The never backdown spirit this city thrives on. So a good luck message is worth just as much as donation. Thank you #JFT97
Join us on event day in Stanley Park on Saturday 18 May 2024 or support virtually wherever you are in the world, as we run to remember The 97 at the 10th Run For The 97.
Stanley Park is located between Liverpool Football Club's Anfield Stadium and Everton Football Club's Goodison Park - the perfect backdrop for this special event. If you can't make it on the day, then you can run virtually. Overseas virtual registrations are also welcome.
Virtual registration has continued and enables national and overseas football fans to support the event. Virtual runners are sent their run number, T-shirt, and medal prior to the event so they can take part.
Run For The 97 remembers the families of The 97 and the survivors, who have tirelessly fought for justice with the utmost dignity.
Please note: Although fundraising for this event is being administrated by LFC Foundation, this year's three official charities are LFC Foundation; Jamie Carragher's 23 Foundation and Stanley Park junior parkrun.
