London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

The Brain Tumour Charity's London Marathon team are raring to go and ready to run towards a better future for everyone diagnosed with a brain tumour. We can't wait to take on the 26.2 mile course through the streets of London on Sunday 27 April 2025.

Story

Last Christmas our good friend and neighbour's 15 year old daughter, Alissa, was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Alissa has been through so many procedures, scans, surgery and tests only to find out that her tumour is so rare it doesn’t actually have a name. No one in the UK has seen a case like this before.

Her mum Fran is trying to raise a whopping £10,000 to go towards finding cures and treatments for Brain Tumours. In an effort to help towards this, Amanda and I have agreed to walk the Yorkshire Three Peaks, which is 24 miles and 5000ft of vertical ascent.

Please sponsor if you can, any small amount is very much appreciated.
