Story

NOBODY IS IMMUNE TO MISFORTUNE

Running the Bath Half Marathon with my son Josh, bare foot on the 15th October to raise money for ‘Back On Track’. Registered Charity No 1172185.

We are running for the homeless, marginalised and disenfranchised. The decision to run bare foot to signify those people who have been forgotten in our local communities due to significant government funding cuts and austerity. Closure of houses like Chandos house treatment for addiction and recovery have had a huge impact on our community (www.chandoshouse.org) with 34 alcohol and drug related overdoses and suicides since the house doors closed. Please support the cause to allow us to prevent this shocking statistic growing, we plan to relaunch and develop as ‘Back on Track” – we will deliver recovery based courses for men incorporating communal experiences whilst promoting the long term benefits of self-development with rewilding the environment by highlighting the need of mankind and Nature to heal in unison.

We cant be well until we all are.
