In 2020, our 9-month-old daughter Delilah underwent open-heart surgery to repair a hole in her heart, which was discovered before she was born. It was a terrifying experience which was needed to save her life.

Surgeons at Great Ormond Street worked on her for 6 hours, which felt like 60, to repair her heart. Thankfully, the operation was successful, and the surgeons said she would have a full and normal life.

We don't have the words to express our gratitude, so I've decided to put myself through running a marathon as my way of saying thanks.

Please donate generously. GOSH is a wonderful place that is, in the main, supported by donations, and they wouldn't be able to do the magnificent, life-saving work they do without people giving as much as they can.
