Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am fund raising via the medium of football, for the second year in a row. I am apart of Team Brooke, one of eight teams that will be fund raising for the charity and specific and special individuals that have been lost due to Cancer.
Phillip Brooke, was 48 years old, he was a keen runner and took part in sea swimming. Unfortunately, he died in early 2022 after a cancerous tumour was identified in his stomach. Leading to Chemotherapy and eventually his stomach needing to be removed.
I have personally know Phillip's nephew, Ollie Urry, for the past 5 years and it is a pleasure to be playing as part of the team along side him, supporting the family and raising awareness of what FFC do.
I know it is viewed as a cliche, but honestly every pound donated has a massive impact upon what the charity can offer those that need their help. Whether it is a weekend away at the charities Holiday home to allow the families to escape, or be it a financial grant to assist with day to day living and lessen the burden and stress caused by the wider affects caused by the illness.
Personally, I just wish to say thank you so much for your donation.
Much love,
James
