My brother and I will be walking just over 38 miles from my house in Uttoxeter to my parents house in Nottingham to raise as much money and awareness. My fiancé, friends and family will more than likely contribute and will be supporting us through the whole process.

Cancer affects us in so many ways and as the stats say a lot of us will either know somebody or go through it ourselves at some stage in life.

I’ve personally had family members affected by various cancers and having experienced it first hand, I couldn’t even begin to imagine the amount of strength and courage they all had to fight and continue fighting it everyday.

We all have our stories, some sad and some with happy endings but together we can create our own story, whether it’s £1 or £100 any donation will help towards the research needed to help millions of people worldwide overcome this horrid disease.
