Story
In July 2024 myself and three Allwyn colleagues are taking part in a three-day cycle challenge from the beautiful Georgian coastal town of Whitehaven to the seaside resort of Whitby, travelling over 362km and climbing over 4,852m in elevation. Riders will be putting their body to the test, physically and mentally, all with the aim of raising vital funds for their industry charity, GroceryAid.
More colleagues than ever are reaching out for support. In 2022/2023 we experienced a 44% increase in the number of incidents of support and 34,958 incidents of emotional and practical help alone. Meeting this increased demand is only made possible through your support.
Along the way, riders will cycle through three stunning National Parks, the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors, finishing with a climb of Rosedale Chimney. Other climbs will include Fleet Moss and Howardian Hills.
