Team Cure are taking on the 2025 TCS London Marathon, hoping to raise over £100,000 to fund cutting edge research into potential new treatments that could slow, stop or reverse Parkinson's.

Story

As some of you may know, I'm taking part in the 2025 London Marathon and will be running for the amazing Cure Parkinson's. My beautiful grandmother was sadly diagnosed in 1984 with Parkinson's at the age of 48. She lived a life of dignity and bravery, never complaining and always trying to find the best from a particularly challenging situation before passing away in 2017.

I have seen first hand the dreadful toll that this terrible disease can have. Parkinson's remains the fastest growing neurological condition in the world. Everything Cure Parkinson's do is to move us closer to our goal, of finding new treatments to slow, stop or reverse the progression of this debilitating illness.

Curing Parkinson’s needs world-class collaborative science involving researchers, clinicians, the pharmaceutical industry and, most importantly, supporting those who stoically are living with Parkinson’s. Your donations will lead to the breakthrough we all want to see.

Together we will find a cure for Parkinson's.

Wish me luck and your donations will help me get over that finish line on 27th April!!

Jamie xx
