Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page supporting the MND Association.

Richard Messenger is my wonderful Brother in Law, who early this year (2024) was diagnosed with the debilitating illness of MND. Richard and his fantastic family remain positive, with work remaining as normal on the dairy farm, but targeting bucket list wishes as a family, with amazing adventures and holidays.

On the 11th May 2025, Firefighters from County Durham and Darlington with other neighbouring Brigades and Services, will line up on the start for the Rob Burrows Leeds Marathon, dressed as inflatable cows. These mad cows hope to raise for MND £2620 , and with lots of mooootivation, we hope to achieve this.

The MND Association focus on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. By sponsoring me your money will help people affected by Motor Neurone Disease. Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to the MND Association. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure, your details are safe - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Thank you again
