Include is an award-winning charity and delivers big impacts - but funding is tight. The team is running to keep Include running. Funding projects that teach inclusion and ensure nobody is excluded because of understanding or speaking difficulties.

Story

On September 22nd I’m running a 10K at Run Reigate for Include.org. The charity is aiming to raise £5000 in total from this event and I’m hoping to contribute at least £150 towards that target.

There are 1 in 5 people experiencing a communication difficulty or disability in their lifetime – reasons may include learning disabilities, autism, brain injury or dementia.

Include.org helps ensure nobody is excluded because of understanding or speaking difficulties by providing Speech and Language Therapy-based community activities and training.

Include is a tiny charity (3.86 equivalent full-time staff, 50 volunteers plus a Board of Trustees where 75% have a communication need or disability) BUT the projects are often life changing for people – and whole communities.

As a small charity community, fundraising efforts make a HUGE difference! So any donation you could make would be greatly appreciated - Thank you
