September Challenge 45, a week-long initiative designed to support and raise awareness for the elderly in our community. The event aims to encourage individuals of all ages to come together, to complete 45 mins, 45 hours or 4.5 days of challenges.

Story

We are taking on this mammoth (for me) 25 mile walk in order to raise funds for Age UK Milton Keynes as part of the 45th anniversary challenges in support of the befriending service.

Myself (James) and my colleague Sam will be walking a route around MK that incorporates all of the Age UK Milton Keynes retail shops starting in Olney and finishing in Woburn Sands. During the route we will also be visiting Newport Pagnell, Stony Stratford, Wolverton, Kiln Farm and Bletchley.

The Age UK MK befriending service supports the vulnerable and lonely older people living in Milton Keynes and is a completely free service. We are raising money in order to continue to provide this support free of charge and with the hope of expanding the service so it can help more people in the future.

Thank you.

James & Sam
