Hello! I am absolutely delighted to have been provided the opportunity to run (he says optimistically) the London Marathon alongside some of my brilliant colleagues.

As an individual who is more likely to be found reading a newspaper with a coffee, this is going to require a significant change in lifestyle for the next six months. However, this is for an extremely important charity and the difference that we can make to lives across the country will both keep me going and hopefully encourage kind donations.

Barnardo's is our official charity partner at National Gas and I fully support their belief that all children have the right to a happy and healthy life. We are on a mission with Barnardo's to raise £100,000 and I hope to make a contribution to this overall target which will make a meaningful impact to families up and down the country.

We are in challenging times for a lot of people and I am extremely appreciative of any donation provided. Together, we can help to ensure that children and families have a brighter future.
