Well... she got me, she finally got me. After years of asking me to join her on her absolutely mental challenges across the globe, my mum has finally got me agree to one; and oh boy what a trial by fire this will be!

🚲 Starting on the 20th of November 2025, I will be cycling 340km, 7-8 hours per day for 5 days, across the length of Sri Lanka to raise money for Claire House Children's Hospice. Now, here's where it gets tricky:

😬 I haven't rode a bike in about 5 years.

🍔 I currently weigh 95kg, the muscle:fat ratio of which isn't exactly at an athlete's level.

🏔 The ride will involve inclines well in excess of 2,000m. For context, that is 2x the height of Mt Snowdon!

🚵 Oh, and I've never rode further than 15km before. So what's an extra 325km between friends, right?!

But other than that, it'll be a walk in the park.

But I can't forget why I'm doing it, like my mum, I've chosen to fundraise for Claire House Children's Hospice. A charity at the heart of The Wirral that does so much good for the surrounding areas.
