Story

Hi there!

I’m Jake, and I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon this April!

This isn’t just a personal challenge for me – it’s an opportunity to support an incredible cause. I’m fundraising for The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR), one of the world’s leading cancer research institutions. Their pioneering work is advancing treatments and saving lives, with a legacy of over 100 years of groundbreaking discoveries.

Cancer touches so many lives – whether it’s family, friends, or loved ones, we all know someone affected. That’s why I’m taking on this challenge: to play a small part in funding the vital research that brings us closer to better treatments and, one day, a cure.

How can you help? As I tackle the miles, you can make a real difference by donating to support this amazing cause. Every penny counts, and your generosity will directly contribute to life-saving cancer research.

If you’d like to follow my training progress (and maybe drop some cheers or tips!), check out my Strava profile here: https://www.strava.com/athletes/28922727.

Thank you so much for your support. Together, we can make a difference!
