Story

Please support Jake and Olivia by donating. Twenty years ago, Jake’s mother was diagnosed with a terminal illness, and was looked after by a wonderful team, including people from the hospice. The support offered to her and to the rest of the family, meant that our last months together were a positive experience, and meant her death when it came was peaceful.

Although we have run 5 half marathons, this is the first time we are running to raise funds. You can make a difference and help the hospices here in Cornwall continue to provide the support that is so needed by people needing palliative care and their families.

St Julia's and Mount Edgcumbe Hospices are less than 20% funded by the NHS, the rest comes from you. Helping to fund the only adult hospices in Cornwall means that families can make the most of those treasured last moments with their loved ones.

Just £24 will fund an hour of nursing care. Please give as much as you are able. With many thanks.
