Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Welcome to my fundraising page.

Hi, my name is Jake and I’m a 15year old squash player from St Helens.

On Saturday 2nd May 2026, I am organising a charity squash event called “Rally for MNDA” at Capitol Squash Club to raise money and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease.

This charity means a lot to me and my family. My great grandad sadly passed away from MND and my great uncle is currently living with the disease. Seeing first hand how much it affects people and their families made me want to try and do something to help.

I decided to organise this event through the sport I love, and it has grown much bigger than I ever expected. We now have a full adult tournament, a junior tournament, raffle prizes, fundraising activities and even an exhibition match between professional squash players.

The support so far has been amazing, with local businesses sponsoring the event and members of the club already donating, but I want to try and raise as much as possible for this incredible charity.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go towards supporting the Motor Neurone Disease Association and helping people affected by MND.

Thank you so much for your support ! it really means a lot to me and my family.

Jake
