Story

Hello everyone, I am running in the 2024 London Marathon on Sunday 21st of April.

My mum was diagnosed with Macular Degeneration at the age of 42, which is a condition that affects 1 in 200 people typically aged 60+. I have been there for her since the beginning, accompanying her to hospital appointments and supporting her through countless eye injections. Despite the challenges she has faced, she has remained brave and positive throughout it all. She has always been there for me, and now it's time to help her.

That's why I am so proud to be running as part of #TeamSight in the TCS London Marathon 2024 to raise vital funds for life changing medical research and social impact projects. These projects are changing the lives of millions of people in the UK affected by sight loss today and in the future. My goal is to spread awareness, educate people, and raise £2,500 to assist with this life-changing research.

This ones for you mum!
