Story
On Sunday 27th of April 2025, myself, Fliss, Polly and Emily will be running the London Marathon!! Which feels like a dream!! Raising money for the incredible RSBC (Royal Society for Blind Children). Who help blind children and their families live a life without limits.🧡
From starting out as a novice runner, completing Couch to 5km a year ago. Running has now become a huge part of my life. It helps me process information and emotions and is also where I come up with my most creative ideas!
I hope through my new found love of running, I can channel this into something positive. Raising as much money as possible for RSBC (Royal Society for Blind Children).
If you’re able to share this post or donate, I’d be hugely grateful ☺️
Thank you xxx
On Sunday 27th of April 2025 I'm running the London Marathon for the Royal Society for Blind Children (RSBC). I hope you will consider sponsoring me in taking on 42.2 km (26.1 miles) for this worthy cause!
Today there are an estimated 44,000 blind and partially sighted children in England and Wales. Each day, four more children will be diagnosed with sight loss.
Blind children are twice as likely to be bullied - One in three will suffer from depression and other mental health issues - 90% will never have a long-term job - Two thirds of blind people are living on or below the poverty line - Most will never have a meaningful relationship
RSBC help blind children to realise their potential. They run a family first service, working with families to help provide the best possible environment for their child to grow and thrive. They also help blind children to develop confidence and independence through a range of programmes and activities, building amazing friendships.
