We Raise funds to help fight Neuroblastoma. to Fund families and clinical trials

Story

On 18th May 2024 'Jack's Pack' - Joining Against Cancer in Kids, Police Against Cancer in Kids - will once again fly to New York to take part in an annual fund raiser, set up in memory of 7 year old Jack Brown.

J-A-C-K.org (Joining Against Cancer in Kids) is a registered charity that helps children with the childhood cancer neuroblastoma. Jack's PACK is the charity's biggest fund raising team. All monies raised assist the costs of sending children abroad to receive potentially life saving treatment and also to further research into this terrible disease.

Over 120 members of the Met, Essex, BTP, Avon and Somerset and other police forces from the UK will complete a half marathon in uniform from the waist upwards in a hope to raise as much money as possible to try and stop any other families having to go through this.

The trip will be paid for by myself and all money raised will go to the charity.

As many of you will know, I am not a runner and have never ran long distance so a lot of training will be going on before the big day in NYC!
