Story
If anyone knows me they will know that I am no runner by any means! Myself and 2 friends have decided to run (and maybe walk a bit) the London Marathon in 2024 and have recently started our crazy training programme!
I have had real struggles with my legs the past few years and had the real disheartening news that I still do not qualify for the surgery I need! My legs have stopped me from exercising and things I have wanted to do with the kids but I am powering through and not letting it hold me back from an amazing once in a lifetime experience!
I have chosen to raise money whilst I’m on this mad journey for Addenbrokes hospital, they were amazing when myself and haydn when we needed hospital care during the pandemic, and having 3 boys we have used their accident and emergency numerous times and unfortunately I’m sure we will in the future.
Any amount you can donate no matter how big or small will be hugely appreciated, I still can’t actually believe that I am running the marathon and I know many of you who know me well cannot believe I’m actually running 5K 3/4 times a week already! (I would never even had run for the bus previously, I would have waited for the next one) 🤣
Thank you again everyone for your support and I hope to see many of you at the finish line cheering me on, even if it takes me 20 hours I will cross that finish line!
