Story

I'm walking The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre Night Hike 2023!

In September 2022 - my wonderful wife Tulip passed away.

She battled with Cancer and got some respite care from the support of our small local charity Nightingale Cancer Support Centre.

TEAM TULIP has been organised by a dear friend who supported both of us last year and she continues to support me now.

There is a wonderful team of women on TEAM TULIP AND we are all madly training to get in shape to walk our 10k Night Walk. So please support us.

TEAM TULIP IS:

This is just an example of what your donation could fund;

£10 – Aromatherapy oils for complementary therapies to help reduce stress

£15 – A Mindfulness session for one client

£30 – An initial client assessment to find out how we can help clients and what services would benefit them best

£35 – A complimentary therapy

£100 – Weekly cleaning and daily sanitisation of all therapy rooms after each client. They receive none of our funding from the government which means they rely totally on the generosity of you and our community to help raise funds to provide free services to over 600 people affected by cancer every year.

Therefore, your donation is vital to us and we greatly appreciate you choosing The Nightingale to donate to.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, which means if not already, we will all be touched by cancer. Its a staggering statistic and I want to make sure that The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre are there for everyone, providing vital and free support. Thats why I'm taking a walk for cancer support.

I hope you can donate to my walk and help me raise funds for a great local charity.

REMEMBER TO ADD THE GIFT AID !
