Story

🥰 LOVE IS ....... Buying your wife a sky dive for her birthday !??

Ok, I will let him off - I love flying and up there with first class -turn left, being thrown out of a plane is also right up there on my bucket list. What better chance to try and raise money for my favourite charity !

I first met Abby's family when i was asked to make their floral tributes for her. I will never ever forget their courage and strength as they spoke of their beautiful girl's life and bravery throughout all her treatment.

As the years have passed, I have watched this lovely family give their all to the charity they created, shared some amazing fun on fundraisers with them and admire everything they have done to make sure families facing a similar journey as themselves will have the help, not only the emotional support but with all the practical bits too.

Any donation towards my jump will be amazing !

Every year, having discovered the news that their child has been diagnosed with cancer, families enter either the Piam Brown Ward for 0-16yr olds, or the TYA Teenage and Young Adults Ward 16-24yrs at UHS University Hospital Southampton.

The whole ethos of Abby's Heroes is to place our arm around the shoulders of these families and support them during this journey. We offer Financial Grants to help with the financial burden of having your child diagnosed, Practical support, Memory Making grants, Welfare Packs, Counselling service for the entire family, as well as two evening meals and a picnic lunch every week. Every single penny is vital to help Abby's Heroes provide these services.
