The Grand Appeal is a cause close to our families heart. Both Jacob and his younger brother 'Finnley' have been at the Childrens Hospital on multiple occasion.

Jacob has been recently diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Koolen De Vries Syndrome. This illness is life long and has affected Jacobs mental development and causes ongoing health issues. He has and will continue needing ongoing support from medical teams at both the Bristol and Taunton Hospitals throughout his life.

When Jacob heard about The Great Bristol Fun Run he decided he would like to take part in the event with his brother and raise money for The Grand Appeal.

The Great Bristol Fun Run is a run for everyone, of all ages and abilities so we have signed up our whole Family to take part giving the kids a chance to experience that finish line feeling, earn a special medal & raise money for a good cause.
